We are so excited to welcome to the neighborhood Rick and Cathy Fields.  Their beautiful custom home on the Golf Course is a show stopper thanks to Signature Builders, Southern Traditions.

Rick and Cathy were kind enough to share with us a little bit about themselves and why they chose Viniterra & Southern Traditions:

“We are Rick and Cathy Fields and we have just completed construction on our retirement home in Viniterra.  We are moving from Northern Virginia where Rick has been working as Director of Government Compliance for various companies for the last 11 years.  We moved to Virginia from Southern California.  Cathy grew up in San Diego, Rick in Tulsa.  Most of our married life was spent in Southern California with a 6 year stay in Dallas, Tx.

We have been married for almost 44 years.  We have 2 lovely daughters Nichole and Danielle and three adorable grandchildren , Dominic 15, Anthony 10 and Annabella 10  (twins).    We are very excited to move south to such a beautiful neighborhood as Rick retires in October of this year.   He is hoping to start playing a lot of golf and Cathy is anxious to be close to the kids and grandkids.    We love to travel and we love wine (maybe a little too much) so Viniterra is perfect for us.

We picked Viniterra because it checks all of our boxes.  Its in central Virginia, its in a beautiful rural suburbia settings minutes from Richmond and Williamsburg, and its a gorgeous golf and wine community filled with great neighbors.  We haven’t moved in yet and we know more neighbors in Viniterra than we did in Northern Virginia.

 We selected Southern Traditions Homes (STH) to build the house because all of their former clients couldn’t stop raving about the quality of the work and how nice the STH team was through out the process.  It was all true.  The STH team is fantastic, the quality is superb and the house is on schedule and budget.  A perfect ending to a perfect project.  We are anxious to move into the new, play golf, drink some wine with our new Viniterra friends and begin a new chapter. “
