On the surface it might seem as if Viniterra is somewhat of a contradiction. Thanks to planned amenities including a Rees Jones Championship Golf Course, a full-service clubhouse with swimming and tennis, the New Kent Vineyards Town Village with its gourmet and boutique shopping, as well as, the state-of-the art New Kent Vineyards Equestrian Center, this pleasant dichotomy of tranquility and activity will be perfect complements to each other.

Rees Jones is creating a golf experience with the centerpiece being an 18-hole course that certainly justifies his ranking as one of the world’s top golf course designers according to Golf Digest.

Among the grapes already growing at New Kent Vineyards is a native North American variety called the Norton grape. White Norton, two Chardonnays, a Vidal, a Merlot, and a Meritage were on the shelves and in our cellars when we opened in May 2008.
